Custom orders for every need!

Katie Bakes loves to learn and can find something that fits every taste and every need.

Pricing and what will be entailed will be discussed and put into writing. Please understand that gluten free baked goods are best within 48 hours of baking. For this reason, I always bake within 12 hours of pick up and usually within 4 hours before pickup.

While I am happy to learn and test a new recipe for you, this may come at an increased cost due to my time and additional materials for test baking.

I have many more recipes than what is on the website and I love working with seasonal flavors and what I can find in my garden or at the market.

We can continue to communicate and find something fitting for us both. I'm really looking forward to working with you soon!

How Katie Bakes prices items

Katie Bakes tries to keep prices reasonable but you may ask yourself, "Why does this cost so much more than an Albert Heijn or Jumbo cake?".

When I buy ingredients for my cakes, I must go to retail with some bulk options. In general, the inflation you feel at the grocery store also effects my business.

Baking equipment such as my KitchenAid, VitaMix, utensils and all the time devoted to testing recipes must also be considered to 'pay back' my time.

Cakes, muffins, cookies, and such are priced by looking at the recipe ingredients cost + time it takes me to bake, clean up, and decorate + the box or other special considerations. This usually means it is very hard to offer anything under 20 euros or it is usually not worth my time. However, flash sales may be offered occasionally so that I can make MANY items, which is more time efficient and I can offer at a lower price.
